This is the plugin that I have been looking for. A plugin directory for WordPress and this is important for me to increase my PR and gain a lot of traffic. This plugin is called WordPress Link Directory by eBrand Marketing. How to use it?

  1. Well first download the plugin and extract the zip files on your computer.
  2. After that upload everything to the server. I know this
sounds might be crazy but just trust me.
  3. As you can see there’s wp-admin folder contains a lot of
Link Directory files, just upload the files to your server and also the
plugin files. All of it will overwrite but not delete the original
    files.
  4. Then activate your plugin by going to plugin sections in
your WordPress admin and click Activate. You’re done.
  5. You can go to http://www.YourSite.com/directory/ to watch the plugin in action.

There’s one tip that is if you want to create a page on your blog linking to your directory section just use permalink and create a page called Directory. That’s all. All that you have to do is create a category and add any site into it. ;)

After the hype of Vista launch all around the world, there’s not much that can talk about. Despite some bloggers said it is a revolution and some bloggers said that M$ is a copycat, personally I think that it feels like a DejaVu again. Why? Remember when XP comes out and in the early stages it seems like compatibility and reliability came as a big issue. Well it is same goes to Vista, not to mention that you need some parts upgrade or upgrade the whole PC in the case of the old PC can’t even install Vista. Plus, one of my friends who is an engineer can even use his CAD software due to compatibility problem.

How can Mac and Linux have a stunning graphics without in need of upgrading the whole PC? PCI graphic cards, 1GB of memory, a couple of gigabytes of hard drive spaces, faster processors, this is just a cream of the crop in order to run Vista as smooth as you could.

For me, I’ll give Vista at least a year to get settled or else. But by that time, there will be tons of virus for Vista hehe. Yup, like a DejaVu.

While we are still waiting for the iPhone to hit the market, let us see which smart phones are the favorites with the users. As per Wirefly Top 5 Smartphones are
1. Cingular BlackJack
2. BlackBerry Pearl (for Cingular and T-Mobile)
3. BlackBerry 8700 series (for Cingular, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon)
4. Cingular BlackBerry 8800
5. Motorola Q for Verizon Wireless

It looks like BlackJack smartphone by Samsung Electronic has taken over the most popular Research In Motion- BlackBerrys for the top spot in just three months. I wonder what is happening with their trademark lawsuit?
BlackJack has every right to take the top spot,it is a quad band and operate on GSM 850/900/1800/1900; EDGE; UMTS; HSDPA, it has full QWERTY keyboard, and it has screen with a 65,000-color output and 320×320 pixel resolution; images and video look great, colors are bright, and text is extra sharp. Only disappointment is that it is not Wi-Fi ready.

With the launching of SPH-m620 “UpStage” dual-faced music phone Samsung, has come up with a smart package ahead of Apple’s iPhone. Keeping the look and feel of the phone alive on one side, gives them a big advantage over iPhone, were there is no keypad. Using a key-pad less phone is going to a huge mind-set change for the subscribers and we will have to wait and see how subscribers adapt to this change. This phone offers a microSD slot for up to 2GB of external storage, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and stereo Bluetooth. Also included is a Music Manager Application for sideloading tunes to the phone via USB.

And looking at the price tag of $149 on a two-year agreement with a $50 rebate through Sprint, it cost just 25% of what an iPhone is going to cost. Sprint will be offering 99 cent over the air (nice!) music downloads well on its entire Music Store catalog.

Except for a small screen I think “UpStage” have all the features to seriously challenge unreleased iPhone.

A new technology has joined already established device-to-device wireless communication technologies Bluetooth, RFID and ZigBee and it is called Near Field Communication or NFC for short. Near Field Communication (NFC) is a wireless connectivity technology that enables convenient short-range communication between electronic devices.
NFC is an open platform technology standardized in ECMA-340 and ISO/IEC 18092. These standards specify the modulation schemes; coding, transfer speeds and frame format of the RF interface of NFC devices. It will operate within the globally available and unlicensed ISM RF band of 13.56 MHz with a range of 0-20 centimeters and data rates of 106 Kbit/s, 212 Kbit/s or 424 Kbit/s.
When r NFC-enabled devices are close together, they automatically initiate network communications without requiring the user to configure the setup. NFC-enhanced consumer devices can easily exchange and store your personal data – messages, pictures, MP3 files, etc.
The new AT&T mobility has teamed up with cell phone maker Nokia and financial institutions Citigroup and MasterCard Worldwide to trial new phones that have MasterCard PayPass contactless payment capability to test this technology. The participants in the trial will receive a Nokia handset with “near-field communication” (NFC) technology and the MasterCard PayPass payment function built in.
Some of you will be wondering that Bluetooth is already doing all this, why have NFC? Because there is no setting and setup involved in NFC is relatively easy to use and also NFC may be part of standard chipset in many devices.

I’ve come across rare problems with Limewire and Frostwire (based on Limewire). This is due to Java error with the application that makes Limewire and Frostwire just can’t be executed. After the Limewire or Frostwire icon is double clicked, just the splash screen appeared and dissapeared. Nothing happen. Why? If you checked Limewire or Frostwire in windows’ Program Files there’s a Java error on a notepad files. I’ve tried uninstall Limewire or Frostwire but to no avail. I’ve installed all Java software that is needed by both of them but it just won’t open.

I’m kind of give up with this annoying problems so I searched on Wikipedia what is other alternative for Limewire or Frostwire that also use the same Gnutella network. Then I found out one suitable P2P client for me that is Ares. It is a free and open source file sharing program that enables user to share stuffs through P2P. It is also supports torrent files that means user can download all kind of stuff including torrent files such as movies, softwares, and mp3s’.

Cool! )

Google TiSP is Google’s new broadband service that is actually an April Fool joke. At first I’m quite amazed on how it really works by using the sewage line to connect to TiSP Access Nodes via fiber-optic cable. But then when I look at it carefully, does anyone really want to put that in the toilet? Hahah this is a very good one Google. Really good one. They can be so funny and serious at the same time. ;)
